Palm Beach County remains under a Hurricane Warning. Mandatory evacuations for Zones A and B will be in effect tomorrow at 7 a.m. This includes mobile homes, barrier islands and low lying areas. After proper assessment, major roads have been deemed clear, traffic signals are working and county staff completed the initial damage assessment of county buildings, beaches and the community overall. Therefore, effective Thursday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m. the evacuation order has been lifted.
Palm Beach County is currently under a Hurricane Watch. A Hurricane Watch means that hurricane conditions are possible within the watch area within 48 hours. Governor DeSantis issued a State of Emergency for 34 counties, including Palm Beach. Palm Beach County has executed a local state of emergency. The Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center is currently at a level 3, which is enhanced monitoring.
